The client who commissioned this stunning fireplace wanted a design that provided a dramatic focal point in the room, but needed it to be comfortable too. The fire surround is very wide and allows a huge open fire to enjoy. Drama is provided by the magnificent stone chimney piece, over a wide mantel supported by elegant columns which divide the width and provide symmetry.

Geddis showroom - Ireland

Geddis, our dealer for Ireland, chose to showcase this bespoke fire surround in their recently built showroom. The natural tones of our stone soften such a large design, extending as it does almost to the ceiling. The huge mantel is balanced by elegant supporting columns which taper to the hearth, very similar to those found in French country houses.

As the sole Farmington dealer for Ireland we did not hesitate to use their stone to create our grand centre for our new showroom.
